--- Comment #2 from Kirov telliangun@gmail.com 2011-04-10 11:27:39 CDT --- I can confirm this happens with wine 1.3.17. My game looks exactly as in the attached screenshot.
I also needed to install "vcrun2008 wmp9 physx xact d3dx9" in order to make the game run.
Pertinent specs:
Gentoo Linux AMD64 (2.6.38-r1) GeForce 9800GTX OC with nvidia-drivers 270.18

--- Comment #3 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-05-28 11:33:23 CDT --- Created an attachment (id=34940) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=34940) screenshot, Wine-1.3.21 (fixed)
This bug has been fixed with Wine-1.3.21: those annoying colored pixels have gone away and landscape looks normal in the game with 1.3.21. Certain terrain objects appear too bright to me (bushes and trees), as if they were shining. This can be worked around by disabling GLSL.
The newly attached screenshot clearly shows the difference (compared to my original screenshot), so I consider this bug fixed. I've tested the game with a Nvidia card using the 270.41.06 driver.
The commit which fixed the problem is http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/019f6a8534d49cf92e8c819a4fda33a...
Thank you, Henri and keep up the good work on Wine.
