Are you running them from partition mounted with noexec?

I launched Finereader setup from reiserfs partition. Firefox 3.1b3 on same
pfrtition works fine.

All mounts with noexec will prevent execution of files from such mount. Win
apps under Wine included.

What apps are those? are they windows apps running under Wine? Show some prove
that your claims are valid. So far you've been wrong on all points.
