Mathematical package ProgramCC when entering commands from the keyboard
displays a message: *** Error: Unrecognized character.
When you open a standard example of an error: 'Machine type is not IEEE little'
encountered when loading 1st variable.
If you enter any character in the command window error message appears in the
Wine c recommendation to create an bug for http://bugs.winehq.org and the
program is unloaded.
ProgramCC package designed for Windows 98.

Please retest with Wine 1.3.13. Is there a demo/free download?

I deleted ProgramCC, cleaned registry, installed wine 1.3.13, set ProgramCC.
Errors are the same.
The ProgramСС - a commercial package for engineering calculations.

Runs in demo mode.

This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days. Development recommends
to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the
bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed.

Is this still an issue with 1.7.0 or higher ?

Now the program CC (ccv5d.exe) runs apparently OK with wine (1.6.2), BUT
returns "erroneous character" for every input at its terminal longer than a
single character
