Summary: Adobe Acrobat Pro 6 -- "Acrobat Online..." and "Online Support" do not work Product: Wine Version: 0.9.58. Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: jens@porup.com
Selecting Help --> Acrobat Online and Help --> Online Support both do nothing.
This is interesting, because Help --> Registration will successfully open a new tab in Firefox in Linux, so Acrobat knows how to communicate to the browser, but doesn't do so with these two other menu options.
Wishlist item.

--- Comment #1 from foobard jens@porup.com 2008-04-22 12:30:38 --- A similiar bug exists in Acrobat Reader 6.01, where this feature is included under menu option Help --> Online Support.

--- Comment #2 from foobard jens@porup.com 2008-05-09 22:15:02 --- Confirm still exists in 1.0-rc1.
More interesting, however, is that this bug does NOT exist in Acrobat Pro 7 and Acrobat Reader 7. Both successfully detect Firefox and launch a new tab/browser with the target Adobe web page.

--- Comment #10 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2012-09-06 21:15:26 CDT --- Downloaded ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/6.x/6.0/enu/AdbeRdr60_enu_full.exe and the only option available from Comment #1 is Help --> Online Support but there are a number of errors on first run which might affect that.
This is partly fixed. iexplore opens with the correct URL, but it also opens a second time with http://www.wine.org. Neither pages load.

--- Comment #11 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Is this still an issue in Wine 1.7.18 or later?
