If I use Alt-Tab to switch out of the game (or other window like RSIBreak suddenly appears)and switch back to the game, it will immediately crash. I'm running NFSMW v1.3 on wine emulating WindowsXP.

Can you attach the terminal output from when you start the game and up to the point when it crashes? Might help the Wine devs some as the backtrace by itself might not be enough :)

--- Comment #2 from chenghaomanzhouli@gmail.com --- Upon start of the game (before it crashes) there's a console output:
err:d3d:init_driver_info No driver version info found for device 8086:0416, driver model 0x2.
When the game crashed the output is same as the backtrace log.

--- Comment #3 from chenghaomanzhouli@gmail.com --- Actually this error message can't be the problem because when I run other full-screen games (Red Alert2, NFSHP2, etc.) such an error message would show as well.
