Bug ID: 38902 Summary: Bus Simulator 2012 crashes after a while when I use the program Product: Wine Version: 1.7.47 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: oebbler@live.de Distribution: ---
The program starts and the game can be loaded but when I play a while the game crashes and I am unable to close it. The only way is rebooting the OS using Ctrl+Alt+Del. It is very annoying because it crashes after 3 to 5 minutes.

This sounds like it's more likely in your graphics drivers; wine is a user space program and should not be able to lock the kernel like that.
Can you please attach the full terminal output from the crash? /var/log/messages and/or /var/log/Xorg.*.log may have more info as well.

--- Comment #2 from oebbler@live.de --- Created attachment 51838 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=51838 dump of /var/log/Xorg.0.log after the crash of Bus Simulator 2012

--- Comment #3 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Xorg.0.log is new when X restarts, Xorg.0.log.old is what needs to be uploaded.
Also: Ctrl+Alt+Del shouldn't reboot a Linux machine, are you sure it is actually rebooting? Are you seeing the reboot dialog "Would you like to reboot?" after pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del? If you are then X is still running.
Does the demo have the same problem? http://www.fileplanet.com/206727/download/City-Bus-Simulator-Demo

You should try to recreate new wine prefix, 32bit, install the game there and run it again.
