--- Comment #1 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Try with WINEARCH=win32.
STOP marking bugs as major, this clearly is NOT a major bug. https://bugs.winehq.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html

--- Comment #10 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Hmmm.. this works fine for me.
Did the installation complete correctly for you? I note that I had to map a drive and run 'wine e:\setup' or the installer failed to find most of its files.

Hmmm.. this works fine for me.
Okay, not strictly true: When the game first loads it appears as though nothing at all happens and the screen may have locked up. However, alt-tabbing to another window allows the game to immediately start. I couldn't recreate a crash, however.
Wine build: wine-4.19 (Ubuntu 4.19-1)
Where did you get your Wine build from? What version of Ubuntu are you using?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48080
--- Comment #12 from Sebastian Horatio Stillion sebastian@stillion.com --- Discover. Ubuntu 20.04
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48080
--- Comment #13 from Alistair Leslie-Hughes leslie_alistair@hotmail.com --- Steps I used.
Mount the iso Using winecfg ensure that it has a driver letter (in my case j). run wine j:\setup.exe
This should install all files. If any files are reported as they couldn't be copied. Check the driver letter mapping is correct.
Don't install the quicktime libraries, when prompted, as they aren't needed.
Try to run.
Do you have anything else install into the wine prefix?

--- Comment #14 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- I'd also suggest trying to compile Wine yourself from source. With 20.04 being in Alpha the patches being added to the Wine package probably haven't been thoroughly tested (again 20.04's updated packages).
