------- Additional Comments From tiago.freire@gmail.com 2007-04-01 15:00 ------- The reason I am posting here is because my bug has been RESOLVED as a DUPLICATE of this one, because the error is the same 'Unable to get ShortPath size' thing. Other bugs related to installation failures of MS Office 2002 and 2003 also have been marked as RESOLVED - DUPLICATE of this one. Maybe this bug could change its description, because currently its description makes it look like it's a problem specific to MSVC, while it's not. I have kept filing the install logs to raise the awareness that this same problem affects other apps as well, and to keep feedback available about the evolution of the bug, because the devs themselves might not have the installation files of the apps involved, which can make debuging a little bit harder...
