And believe it or not, with WINEDEBUG unset, wine doesn't output anything.
Nothing at all.

This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 6
months. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.33 or newer) wine?

I do not experience this problem with the GOG version of the game. Ben, I guess
you have the CDROM version, can you test this again in current git (1.3.5)?

Is this still an issue with recent Wine versions (1.5.22 or newer)?
The demo version available from Sierra also contains a background image when
starting the installer with AUTOPLAY.EXE, but the image is shown correctly
here, tested with several Wine versions back until 1.0.1.

This bug is invalid. If depends on how you launch the autorun.

If you run it from the cd-rom folder root it will open correctly (which is how
it's supposed to be using autorun.inf), if you open from the AUTORUN folder it
will not work. The application always try to open the file AUTORUN\L2.BMP. It
fails in windows too.
