FrameMaker 8.0 displays a registration dialog that blocks execution.  Several
command line issues:

fixme:mshtml:nsURI_Equals default action not implemented

Seems to be related to the button operation.

also...

err:module:import_dll Library xmlparse.dll (which is needed by L"C:\Program
Files\Quicken\QWUTIL.dll") not found

This error is seen in several adobe applications. Frame 7.2, 8.0

That means you have not cleaned your ~/.wine directory from prior stuff. Please
remove / rename ~/.wine directory, download and install wine-0.9.55 then
install  FrameMaker and test it again.

Argh.  I closed the wrong one.  You need to enter a serial
to get this error.  The trial doesn't try to register.

This also affects Photoshop Elements 6 (cannot get past registration screen)

I changed the title to only FrameMaker 8.0.  7.2 Never exhibited this bug as it
has a different registration dialog.

Tested under 9.55.  Clean install.  Installs as before, but the "Finish" dialog
doesn't appear.  The application installs Wine Gecko and doesn't even make it
to the registration dialog.  It immediately crashes after startup from that
point on.

Same problem exists on Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 after a fresh install.  Installing
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 works fine until you attempt to register or skip
registration.  At that point, none of the buttons for Register/Register
Later/Never Mind do not work.

If more debug can be done on my side, let me know.

Is this still an issue in current (1.1.10 or newer) wine? Do any free trials

Currently, installation is still locked by Bug #16215

Hello,

can't reproduce with Framemaker 8, marking fixed.
Reopen if you can demonstrate the problem using _recent_ Wine version (exact
steps).

$ wine --version
wine-1.3.35-43-gd9d4a06
