Well, there seems to be one difference compared to Aura. Just before the 
application window pops up, these messages appear: 
fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_SetCooperativeLevel

The last line didn't appear with Aura, and the message is repeated a few more 
times when the workspace shows up. I hope that helps.
