Bug ID: 42254 Summary: iTunes 12.5.4 window maximized with margin Product: Wine Version: 2.0-rc3 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: winetaste@gmx.net Distribution: ---
Created attachment 56939 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=56939 output maximizing
iTunes window has 4 px margin on every side when maximized.
It is the same for 32 and 64bit iTunes.
I tested on two different machines both with Ubuntu 16.10 64bit. Same result with KDE Plasma 5, MATE and Cinnamon. Same with builtin and native gdiplus.
Output when I click maximize button, see attachment.
I don't know if I missed that before, because I didn't really maximized iTunes that often before. Now I tested with rc3-5 and it is the same result.

--- Comment #3 from winetest@luukku.com --- You can see similar issue with "wine notepad", left and right side have some border.

--- Comment #4 from winetaste@gmx.net --- Can you confirm this for iTunes? I can confirm neither this behaviour nor any fixme-output for wine notepad.

--- Comment #6 from winetaste@gmx.net --- Same with wine 4.8, Ubuntu 19.04. For iTunes 12.7 and 12.9 (black GUI - see Bug 47165 - but you can maximize the window if you hit where the button should be). Same with staging 4.7.

--- Comment #7 from winetaste@gmx.net --- Still in Wine 6.1
The same for every version of iTunes up to 12.10.10.2 (last for Win7/8.1). With the newest one (12.11.0.26*) this is fixed/a different bug.
With this version Wine renders the standard decoration for title bar instead of iTunes' custom one. This happens in KDE only when the window is maximized and in Gnome also in normal window mode.
*installed with "Windows 10" setting and "iTunes64Setup.exe DISABLE_OS_VERSION_CHECK=1" (see Bug 50580)

--- Comment #8 from winetaste@gmx.net --- (In reply to winetaste from comment #7)
The same for every version of iTunes up to 12.10.10.2 (last for Win7/8.1). With the newest one (12.11.0.26*) this is fixed/a different bug.
Different behavior is result of (forced) Win10 setting and not the iTunes release itself. Same for older releases.
