Does it work if you set "d3d11" to "disabled" in Wine's configuration utility?

Just wondering if that workaround will work for the Origin client...

Disabling d3d11 causes it to crash without a window notification. I will add
another attachment for the terminal output with d3d11 disabled.

In the Origin AppDB entry I suggested to file a bug about this. But now a
recent post suggests this is also an issue on Windows, and may be workarounded
by using the legacy version of Origin:

Not really a bug from Wine.

I'm seeing the same issue, and started digging into why Windows users are
seeing this error.  Found these guys:

Sounds like perhaps video drivers have recently become relevant?  Anyway, I
installed 'cmd' with winetricks and ran dxdiag like all the folks on EA support
forums are suggesting.  Looks like wine also has no visible drivers:

      DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
 Driver Date/Size: , 0 bytes
      WHQL Logo'd: n/a
  WHQL Date Stamp: n/a
              VDD: n/a

This could explain why the old Origin installer was a workaround.  I gave the
legacy installer an attempt myself, but I think the URL
(https://www.dm.origin.com/download/legacy) has been updated to redirect to the
latest installer.

Anyway, I'm seeing all the same symptoms as Thomas, even down to d3d11 output
spam, and disabling d3d11 causes an outright crash.  I've attached the full
DxDiag.exe output, to give some information on what the app perceives as
problematic, from within wine.  My guess is that Origin doesn't like the lack
of video driver information.

I just tested this with installer that has sha1sum of

376bdbed3c53e4c5738c44c74829ca67e7e405ae and I wasnt able to replicate the
issue anymore. Not with wine 2.0-git or wine-staging.

I quess the installer has changed.

I have also not encountered this issue any of the times I've installed Origin
with different WINE versions. Marked as Fixed/Invalid?
