--- Comment #2 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- Is this bug present in upstream (non-Staging) Wine?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #3 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- I only have access to what comes from the repos that Fedora provides
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #4 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- If your distribution doesn't provide upstream wine, you can use instead Wine's repositories; see https://wiki.winehq.org/Fedora for instructions.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #5 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- Yikes! What a mess to undo.
Did you find anything in the backtrace that was usable?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #6 from Zebediah Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- No, there's nothing illuminating in the backtrace. Default console output might be more helpful; see https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#General if you need instructions.

--- Comment #9 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Please, run a regression test: https://wiki.winehq.org/Regression_Testing
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #10 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- I am relegated to using the RPM's that the Fedora repo's provide. Can I do a regression test using those?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #11 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- Anything show up on the traces I posted?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #12 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- To run a regression test (it is explained in the wiki I posted the link) you have to download the source of wine and the needed libraries to compile it.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #13 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- Sorry. I have to stay with Fedora's RPMs. Is there any other test I can do?

Please try again with wine-6.0-rc1. It was released yesterday, there should be Fedora RPMs soon.

Which version of Approach are you using?
N9.8.0208.1300
Lotus Smart suite is available for free download from https://winworldpc.com/product/lotus-smartsuite/9-8 The screen shot is of my version.
I can also upload mine to drop box
Please try again with wine-6.0-rc1. It was released yesterday, there should be Fedora RPMs soon.
All I see is wine 5.22 over on http://ord.mirror.rackspace.com/fedora/updates/33/Everything/x86_64/Packages...
I will check back in a few days
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #16 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- I am trying to set up a virtual machine to run whatever tests on whatever versions of wine you want me to.
I have got Approach and Word Pro installed. Word Pro is working. But Approach gives me
"Couldn't load the Lotus Dialogs DynaLink".
Same as the really old
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19661
But I saw no fix action on the bug.
Can you guys give me a hand here so I can test 6.0rc1?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #17 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- I think I found the issue with dynalink: http://www.johnbrown.com.au/approach/webfaq04130470.html
I installed off a network mounted iso.
I will update the 19661 if I am correct. Presume I am, unless I get back
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #18 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- I uninstalled and removed C:\lotus. Then I copies the contents of the iso to a local directory and installed from there. Still getting the dynalink error

--- Comment #19 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Did you see bug 625?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #20 from Michael Cronenworth mike@cchtml.com --- (In reply to Robert Wilhelm from comment #14)
Please try again with wine-6.0-rc1. It was released yesterday, there should be Fedora RPMs soon.
There will not be a 6.x release in Fedora soon. It depends on Gecko 2.47.2 and Gecko is currently failing to compile due to a GCC 10 regression.
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=96391
Fedora builds all pieces of Wine from source and distributes them all as native packages unlike other distributions.

--- Comment #21 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- (In reply to joaopa from comment #19)
Did you see bug 625?
I added the lotus dll directory (C:\lotus\compnent) to the path and started approach in the approach directory and it did not help. :'(
Thanks for the tip anyway.

Ahh poop! I set the Linux path. Going into regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment and setting it there fixed the issue with DynaLink
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #23 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- 5.22 runs approach fine after setting the path correctly in my virtual Fedora 33 machine.
So I did a full remove and reinstall of wine on my host Fedora 33 machine and made sure the path was set correctly. No joy:
C:\lotus\approach>echo %PATH% C:\lotus\compnent;C:\windows\system32;C:\windows;C:\windows\system32\wbem
C:\lotus\approach>approach

Is this regular or staging?
Where are the RPM's?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50242
--- Comment #25 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@zoho.com --- Okay, now that I have Approach properly working in my virtual machine of Fedora 33, 5.22 crashes the same way on opening of Approach as it does on my host Fedora 33 machine. And works on 5.18, same as on my host machine.
So this issues is repeatable on a fresh machine. Sorry it took me so long to set things up.
If you can point me RPM's for Wine-Staging 6.0-RC1, I'd love to try it out and see if this issue reproduces.

Where are the RPM's?
You could try RPMs from winehq:

Where are the RPM's?
You could try RPMs from winehq:
Did a full uninstall of Wine on my virtual Fedora 33 and then installed:
winehq-staging-1:6.0.rc1-3.1.x86_64
Approach in not crashing any more. And boy does it run nicer (so far) than 5.xx.
Did you guys know about the missing launchers for 6.0? You have to create them by hand.
Thank you!
