Hello, my Mac details attached recently when i tried to launch Counter Strike 1.6, basic functionalities were blocked and game freeze with the following error:
The program hl.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close this can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine.
i'm running using CrossOver 23.0
please help me with that

Start by describing step-by-step how to replicate the issue with a fresh wineprefix and then attach a normal (=without WINEDEBUG) terminal output. Instructions to get a log can be found there: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log

using CrossOver i did Run with Options -> Log Session

Crossover is based on wine, but is a different product/codebase. This issue needs to be reported there.
If you want to report an issue here, you need to test with wine-stable, wine-development, or wine-staging.
