------- Additional Comments From dank@kegel.com 2005-27-11 14:33 ------- I haven't seen that javascript error myself, but I'll look for it.
Which version of Wine are you using?
FWIW, that javascript error has been reported on windows several times, and once before for wine. Here's the text from the old frank's corner forum:
---snip--- anzesk I had the same problem, using DLLs (as Frank suggested, except that I copied them to fake_windows) from Win98 helped. But I'm stuck a little further down the road... Could someone give me a hint? DW complains: "The following JavaScript error(s) occured: At line 1 of '...startup/helpdocs.js': Reference Error: MM is not defined." Any idea how to get past this or at least figure out what is wrong? Maybe I should mention that after this JavaScript error Wine eats all the CPU and does nothing. For long time.
Frank Install Windows Script: http://download.microsoft.com/download/winscript56/Install/5.6/W9XNT4Me/EN-U... --- snip ---
No idea if Windows Script is related, or if it'll run on wine.
