Summary: LEGO STARWARS: Unable to cancel level intros Product: Wine Version: 1.1.20 Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: infernux@web.de
At the beginning of each level in LEGO STARWARS there is a scrolling text just like in the movies. A text "Press the ESC key" appears which normally lets you skip straight to the level. This does not work in wine most of the time. "Most of the time" means it works if you are lucky, about once every 10 or 15 tries maybe.

--- Comment #1 from Jörg Höhle hoehle@users.sourceforge.net 2009-10-11 09:58:38 --- Confirming with wine-1.1.29 on MacOS. Actually, I never noticed that Esc ever worked there.

--- Comment #2 from Jörg Höhle hoehle@users.sourceforge.net 2009-12-07 10:57:49 --- The children confirm the "most of the time" comment. Using wine-1.1.33 on MacOS.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-12-23 19:06:59 CST --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.9 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #4 from Jörg Höhle hoehle@users.sourceforge.net 2011-01-10 14:49:04 CST --- Still present with wine-1.3.10 on MacOS 10.5.8 & XQuartz 2.5.3

--- Comment #5 from Jörg Höhle hoehle@users.sourceforge.net 2011-08-07 08:30:50 CDT --- Currently untestable because a recent regression causes Lego Star Wars menu screen to be all black. If you know by heart which keys to press to start a game, you'll see the score display is missing and other display glitches. I'm using MacOS 10.5.8 with nVidia 9400m graphics in an "early 2009" Mac mini.

--- Comment #6 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-11-13 16:52:30 CST --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 2 years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.6 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.6 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).
