Summary: Long time play of Assasine's Creed Ver. 1.02 Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: Xwarman@gmx.de
Created an attachment (id=20551) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20551) cuts from AC Console messages before different crashes
That extract are some errors occoured by playing Assasine's Creed with latest wine versions and only mods discriped in wine HQ --> Assasine's Creed. Game works fine, but it crashes servail times especially when trying main missions of the game. Whenever I try to succeed the main story line (most of all killing some targets and get back to base) the game crashes without any information or hint before. Hope that can help you.

--- Comment #4 from Xwarman@gmx.de 2009-04-25 03:41:38 --- I tryed again with newest wine version and graphic drivers for my distribution (180.44 - Nvidia; Kubuntu 9.04 x64 as discribed above). Now the game freeze and a wine error messagte sais program must be closed. I generated a full error log and upload them to the rapidshare url.

--- Comment #6 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-10-29 15:26:19 --- Is this still an issue in current (1.1.32 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #7 from Xwarman@gmx.de 2009-11-07 06:17:14 --- No. Yesterday I tryed to play it with newest wine version and could complete 2 missions without any (mission)problems. Generally the game seems a little bit slower then in windows. Now I think there is only one larger issure left: The 'world' in the game that connect to other mainplaces (e.g. jerusalem, damaskus etc.) have large grafical errors. Sometimes a way where you can walk seems to be a wall for example. That problem I only visit in that part of the game.
