Summary: Sling Player 1.0.5.140 fails to stream video from SlingPlayer Product: Wine Version: 0.9.20. Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-net AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ilan@fonz.net
SlingPlayer is a piece of software that allows you to connect to a setup box like device and stream television content via your network or the internet. (see appdb entry for more info.) This application is based on Windows Media Player.
The installer runns correctly, but once you run SlingPlayer.exe it will connect to the SlingBox device as it does under Windows. However, if you attempt to stream any video content from the device it provides a error via msgbox "Unable to start streaming because not all components are registered properly. Please reinstall the product."
Console output is: __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 - succeeded __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 - succeeded fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x3365b4,0x00000000), stub! fixme:sync:CreateIoCompletionPort (0xffffffff, (nil), 00000000, 00000001): stub. fixme:dciman:DCICreatePrimary 0x324 0x10b126c fixme:msg:pack_message msg 14 (WM_ERASEBKGND) not supported yet err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {6bc1cffa-8fc1-4261-ac22-cfb4cc38db50} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {6bc1cffa-8fc1-4261-ac22-cfb4cc38db50} could be created for context 0x1 err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {94297043-bd82-4dfd-b0de-8177739c6d20} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {94297043-bd82-4dfd-b0de-8177739c6d20} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {94297043-bd82-4dfd-b0de-8177739c6d20} could be created for context 0x3 fixme:winsock:NtStatusToWSAError Status code c0000024 converted to DOS error code 6 fixme:qcap:fnCaptureGraphBuilder2_Release Release IGraphFilter or w/e
