I have faced an error while installing GMAT prep software using wine. attached
is the backtrace.

You need to upgrade your wine.

Wine build: wine-1.6.2

This is something between 2-4 years old now and no longer supported and getting
updated.

Hello folks,

the app installs and runs fine with recent Wine version.
The installer problem was mostly likely fixed a long time ago.

As already stated in comment #1 : you're running an ancient - unsupported -
Wine version.

Tidbit: the app uses Adobe AIR technology

$ sha1sum GMATPrep-2.4.323-Windows.exe

$ du -sh GMATPrep-2.4.323-Windows.exe
