Bug ID: 38834 Summary: Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13.0 does not install with Host_WindowLoadTimeout Product: Wine Version: 1.7.45 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: susancragin@gmail.com Distribution: ---
This is either a regression or a mistake I have made. I installed NatSpeak 13 a couple of weeks ago and was running it without a problem. BUT THEN I re-installed my Debian Sid system last night, tried to re-install NatSpeak, and now I get the error Host_WindowLoadTimeout a couple of seconds after I start the install. The log shows nothing.
NOTE: A couple of days ago I started to get a lot of buffer under-runs and the program ran slowly. This may be connected by probably is not because the buffer under-runs seemed to involve the voice data.

--- Comment #1 from Susan Cragin susancragin@gmail.com --- Created attachment 51849 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=51849 Winedbg log with relay
I used the following command: WINEDEBUG=+relay wine-development E*.exe 2>&1 | less -i
and got this. Then the message box popped up.
trace:relay:load_list L"RelayExclude" = L"ntdll.RtlEnterCriticalSection;ntdll.RtlLeaveCriticalSection;kernel32.48;kernel32.49;kernel32.94;kernel32.95;kernel32.96;kernel32.97;kernel32.98;kernel32.TlsGetValue;kernel32.TlsSetValue;kernel32.FlsGetValue;kernel32.FlsSetValue;kernel32.SetLastError" trace:relay:load_list L"RelayFromExclude" = L"winex11.drv;winemac.drv;user32;gdi32;advapi32;kernel32" 0011:Call KERNEL32.__wine_kernel_init() ret=7bc581b3 err:process:__wine_kernel_init boot event wait timed out
I have attached the entire log. It's not very long.
