I'm trying to run Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy, however the game starts to load
and then crashes. My output from the console is err:seh:setup_exception_record
stack overflow 1220 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc3e5ce esp 01330e6c stack
0x1330000-0x1331000-0x1b30000. I'm not a programmer so this is all speaking
greek to me. From my understanding, JKA is suppose to work great in multiplayer
for JKA.

The console output must be longer than just one line, here's how to get a
proper log:

You need to attach the created log file here (do not paste it).
Also, please specify what Wine version and video card/driver you are using.

And last but not least, please have a look at the Appdb page for the game:

The howto page clearly states that the game has problems with newer
cards/drivers so you might need to limit the number of OpenGL extensions.
If you own a Nvidia card this is easy. Launch the game like this:
__GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700 wine JediAcademy.exe

(JediAcademy.exe can be substituted by either jasp.exe or jamp.exe, depending
on you want to run the single-player or the multi-player game.)
