I'm running the pre-compiled "wine-kane-1.1.33-2.x86_64" that you provided on a clean Fedora 12 install (no wine installed before). The other player was a Linux client with the same rpm but on a Suse box. He did the same as me on everything below.
How I did it: 1) Install wine-kane-1.1.33-2.x86_64 bit 2) Install Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Kane version 3) Upgrade the game using the patch to 1.09 (not related to the problem) 4) Copy the nodvdfixeddll to run without cd (not related to the problem) 5) Run Hamachi's "tuncfg" on terminal (it prepares the tunneling) 6) Start & Login on Hamachi and make sure I'm online on the network and that other user can ping me and vice-versa 7) Open the game, change IP to hamachi's and go to Network Here I can't see him and he can't see me.
So I close the game and go to terminal and try: 8) Route add -host 255.255.255.255 dev ham0 9) Start the game again and same problem The other route experiments were probably just shots in the dark (and also made my IP repeat, so it probably made it worse).

/etc/hosts is unchanged and my machine has a name other than "localhost" and added correctly in /etc/hosts
