I noticed that InstallShield has problems with some fonts and layouts when running on wine. I will attach some screenshots...

Here you see that there is actually no font shadow and no line border.

I can confirm your problem however that is not the biggest problem. While extracting the files, InstallShield as one line message in the top white part. The first 5-6 letters are shown correctly, the rest is shown vertically at the top and the bottom with one letter per line.
As long as this is the only problem though, I can live with it.

Confirming.
In the last three releases of Wine (including the current 1.1.38), something has been changed in Wine to cause some of the Installshield dialogs fonts to be really messed up. I am not sure what is really going on, but it looks like any font like Arial, Courier New, etc. is defaulting to some far east font.
Also any Courier New font in windows help files will also display strange characters.
Perhaps some font defaulting logic has been messed up or corrupted.
