--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-08-04 03:15:03 --- I assume disabling gameux.dll in winecfg will workaround it?
I assume you know this, but someone else may stumble on this bug and not know that ;-).

--- Comment #2 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-08-04 09:27:56 --- Right, I should have tried that and listed that as a workaround. But really, the workaround most people will use is clicking 'ok' on the dialog :-)

--- Comment #6 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-02-25 11:22:42 CST --- The same error message with wine-1.3.14-116-gf45b6c5 when installing the newly released King's Quest III (Redux) game.

--- Comment #7 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-10-16 12:55:33 CDT --- Created attachment 36937 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=36937 +gameux,+msgbox log (wine-1.3.30-145-g7a4349b)
The error message is still the same in 1.3.30, however it changed in git. As of wine-1.3.30-145-g7a4349b the error message is 'Unable to add game tasks: IPersistFile::Save failed'
This is shown twice in a row at the end of the install process.

--- Comment #10 from super_man@post.com --- I am not convinced that the component is gameux. I have a patch for gameux that isnt complete, but it helps a bit even with this installer. I just set gameux as native and I still get the message. I did this in unclean prefix. I tested another program meanwhile.
If it's truly gameux, shouldnt native fix the popup?
