Created an attachment (id=13332) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=13332) Screenshot
After a recent update of wine, windows with notes behave strangely. They have smaller size and show only the part of notes to be wisable. When minimizing and maximazing the behave correctly, but the same problem appears again when switching from another application to the wine window with notes. I run OpenSuse 10.3 with kde 3.5.9 (release 61.4) and wine wine-1.0-rc1 from suse build system. Snapshot attached.

--- Comment #1 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-05-28 15:39:27 --- What was the last version of Wine that worked? Can you run a regression test?

This sounds a little bit like bug 13051.

--- Comment #2 from Sebastian Ernst sebern@web.de 2008-06-01 04:04:43 --- I had same behaviour with Lotus Notes, last working version of wine was for me 0.9.56 after that the problem persist in all wine version after this. I run regression test with following result : 5785ee08d06db70d3e187cf31add2739b3a36b9e is first bad commit commit 5785ee08d06db70d3e187cf31add2739b3a36b9e Author: Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org Date: Fri Feb 29 13:43:13 2008 +0100

I run openSUSE 10.3 x86_64 with KDE 3.5.9, wine version are either from openSUSE build service or self complied (make no difference in behaviour). Notes version I run is 8.0.1, but window behaviour is the same with 7.0.2 or 6.5.6.
Hopefully it will be fixed in wine 1.0 final.

--- Comment #3 from Branislav Klocok branislav.klocok@orava.sk 2008-06-01 13:01:29 --- I am sorry, but i am not able to determine which version of wines was working correctly, I do know how to make a downgrade of my wine, since suse build service has no history (or i dont know know about it). The first time I have noticed this behavior was in march/april after an update. it seems that what Sebastian is saying is the best availible information.

--- Comment #4 from Sebastian Ernst sebern@web.de 2008-09-06 02:33:02 --- Problem still persist in latest SVN, some improvements have been done, but still the winex11.drv cause problems. In the meantime I'm on openSUSE 11.0 x86_x64 and KDE 3.5.10, but the behaviour is the same. As I run regression test I wonder why the status is still "unconfirmed". I hope the problem will be solved (sooner or later). Maybe Alexandre can have a look into it. Thanks.

--- Comment #5 from Branislav Klocok branislav.klocok@orava.sk 2008-09-19 10:40:46 --- I confirm some improvement is there. The only problem which I still have is that the windows does not stay maximized when coming from the minimized mode.

--- Comment #8 from Sebastian Ernst sebern@web.de 2008-11-09 03:43:08 --- Sorry to say, but the problem still persist, in every release / SVN I check after 0.9.56, include also 1.1.15 or later releases.
