The same problem affects any other program using 32 bpp bitmaps in standars
windows imagelists controls, using wine 1.1.40.

I have the same issue in HeidiSQL. When using PNGs in Delphi 2009+ TImageList
and using alpha transparency, all icons are drawn with a black background.

I am unsure if that's an issue in Delphi's VCL respectively the PNG components
which were acquired lately, or in Wine. Could also be some weird work around in
Delphi, which is misinterpreted by Wine. Or, probably displaying the Delphi
color "clNone" in black when it should look transparent.

We also have a VCL-based application written in Delphi 2009 that exhibits the
exact same behaviour under WINE.  Sorry I can't add any more useful
information, only to indicate that this issue will probably affect a number of
such applications.

Then this bug is apparently specific to IconWorkshop only, or not fixed
completely.

Using Wine 1.3.7-0ubuntu1~maverickppa1 this is still broken for HeidiSQL (see
attachment).
