msxml3 actually allowed for an error message (blah blah install AMD CPU drivers for Windows blah blah) which could be skipped. After that however, there still is the page fault. See new log.

I am almost sorry for the obscenity. I guess when you're prude that would bother you, but the Linux kernel contains a lot of swearwords aswell. It's not that uncommon. This merely is a sign of my frustration at that time for having to paste console logs into a file first to upload them. It's stupid.

This bug is about some builtin msxml* problem, you installed all available native msxml packages. We can't do much to fix crashes inside native modules, and a preferable way is not to use them.
So I have only one question for you - does this game have any msxml problems when installed without 'winetricks msxml3 msxml4 msxml6' ?

I will commence testing of this game without msxml installed, but i don't know if this do any good, because here is comment that msxml allowed for an error message. I've used "wine Startup2.exe +msxml +tid &> log.txt" to start and log output from game, i don't know if this is correct syntax. The splash screen appears, but with no buttons to click, so the game would launch. Sorry for my English. As far as i can see this log file, there is no msxml errors. This is not a correct syntax, you didn't enable a channel. You need to set WINEDEBUG variable, do it like 'WINEDEBUG=+msxml,+tid wine Startup2.exe &> log.txt'.

Are you running native msxml3 by any chance? You can't do that and expect that builtin msxml4 registration will work. Always use clean wine prefix to test an application.

No, I never said it's useless.
Because last time on latest wine version - 1.3.35 i haven't installed msxml from winetricks or from anywhere else.
There's a possibility that games installs native msxml3 itself, we do a forward msxml4->msxml3 and in this case version 4 classes won't be found obviously. Could you verify if a game supplies msxml3/msxml4 on its own?
Also it's interesting to take a look at +loaddll log to see what module was picked up (attach it please).

Set msxml3 to 'builtin' using winecfg, probably application supplies its own version.

No, application starts and and stops at splash screen, which should be functional (but is not) appears. And yes, this app works in the same way with msxml3 set do builtin and native.
