This is still a problem with today's git.

3DMark 2005 dies with a

X Error of failed request:  GLXBadDrawable
  Major opcode of failed request:  146 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
  Serial number of failed request:  14804
  Current serial number in output stream:  14804

after the first test finishes.
