------- Additional Comments From susancragin@earthlink.net 2007-06-06 16:04 ------- Created an attachment (id=6641) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=6641&action=view) Output for my latest try at installing DNS9
So far, these are the instructions that get DNS9 the closest to installation on my machine.
0. make sure you have wine-0.9.37 or later 1. rm -rf ~/.wine 2. run winecfg and set the following: Libraries = riched20, riched32, msvcrt = native, builtin OK 3. Copy the contents of DN9_1 and DNS9_2 to one folder on your hard disk, and run wine setup from that. 4. after the install finishes, do wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks fakeie6 dcom98 5. download word 97 viewer from http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,6314-order,1-page,1-c,wordprocessi...
change the title to setdown.exe, copy it to .wine/drive_c and install it.
6. Get these files and put them on .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ regapi.dll winsta.dll gdiplus.dll mfc42.dll msvcp60.dll oleacc.dll
Check that location to make sure you have: docobj.dll from the wordviewer install
6. finally, do wine natspeak.exe
And you get the errors attached.
