As far as I can tell "Drakan: Order of the Flame" just uses a CD check.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Drakan 2. Start the game from either the command line or via the Autorun.exe on the CD 3. Attempt to start a new game from the menu
Expected Results: Game should proceed to the the introduction and onto the first level.
Actual Results: Message pops up about inserting the Drakan CD.
Workarounds: Install patch 445 which removes the cd check.
While the workaround does work, wine should be able to handle a standard CD check. I will look further into seeing if it is in fact some copy protection scheme that I haven't managed to detect.

--- Comment #1 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-04-21 19:06:15 --- There's probably cases where on Windows where the copy protection fails as well. Many game developers eventually realize it's more of a pain than it's worth.
There's a clear workaround, so lowering severity.
