The backtrace is missing debugging symbols. Please install the package
containing debugging symbols (probably named something like wine-dbg), or build
Wine from source.

I'm somewhat new to this.  I rebuilt Wine from source and got essentially the
same backtrace.  Is there something on the wiki that will explain this?

Make sure you're invoking Wine from the source tree rather than the system
installation of Wine.

Hm, I tried this and got essentially the same thing.  I can post the trace if
you like, but it looks more or less the same.  It occurs to me that this may be
a problem that always existed in Windows, but was never noticed because the
program was exiting anyway.
