--- Comment #1 from Dmitry Timoshkov dmitry@codeweavers.com 2007-11-28 07:39:15 --- It's neither blocker, nor a properly reported bug.
Please provide at least the name of the application, an url where a demo can downloaded from, and explain how do you experience the slowness in comparison with Windows.
Since it's under a 64-bit OS, do you have 32-bit OpenGL compatibility libraries installed?

--- Comment #2 from nameless bl4ck.3yed@gmail.com 2007-11-28 15:59:05 --- you're right it's not a properly reported bug.
I'm running ubuntu 7.10 64 bit.3d it's working on a ati radeon mobility x1150 with the propietary driver fglrx 8.37.6
The application is Counter Strike non-source 1.6 On Windows with the propietary driver i'm having 100 fps On Ubuntu with the propietary fglrx driver and wine <0.9.46 i'm having 70-90 fps Since 0.9.47 i'm having 20 fps at best, and some games are not working(Heroes III,Atomic Bomberman)

--- Comment #5 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmx.net 2007-12-16 05:58:08 --- Make sure you have a 32bit gcc and friends installed. You might be using a 64bit compiler. Also see if Wine 0.9.51 fixes the problems.

--- Comment #6 from nameless bl4ck.3yed@gmail.com 2007-12-16 13:18:24 --- yes i do have a 64 bit system?(ubuntu 7.10 amd64) can you tell me what should i install?
Also I think that settings in registry are to blame because wine 0.9.46 with the ~/.wine folder from 0.9.50 has the same problem.

--- Comment #7 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2007-12-17 13:42:37 --- Try changing HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3d\UseGLSL to 'disabled' and see if that makes a difference.

--- Comment #8 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmx.net 2008-02-25 14:24:25 --- AMD has updated their drivers and I haven't heard others about low results, so I think it is over. Second if direct3d settings matter, than it even was a d3d bug.

--- Comment #10 from Sagman (MrProPeR) sagman.staredsi@gmail.com 2008-03-08 04:56:07 --- I think that de fix of this bug also affects to the Counter-Strike: Source. The performance of this game also is better with the new wine version :) Good job
