Bug ID: 38067 Summary: Uplay launcher hangs on exit Product: Wine Version: 1.7.36 Hardware: x86 URL: https://ubistatic3-a.akamaihd.net/orbit/launcher_insta ller/UplayInstaller.exe OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: gyebro69@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 50714 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=50714 terminal output
You don't need to have a Ubisoft account to reproduce the issue.
When closing Uplay it doesn't exit but remains in the process list, seemingly idling (0% CPU usage, ~180 MB ram usage).
To reproduce the problem: download and install the client. When the login window appears close the window. The window disappears but Uplay.exe is still in the process list.
The client is updated frequently, the current version I tested: UplayInstaller.exe md5sum: c7410c9ff8e18397a98b20b8c3c888d9
wine-1.7.36-28-ga679cae Fedora 21 x86

--- Comment #1 from Béla Gyebrószki gyebro69@gmail.com --- This bug was reported against Uplay 4.x. Since Uplay automatically updates itself to the latest version there's no way to retest this bug. The newest Uplay version hits bug #38134 for me.
Marking abandoned.
