Summary: Visio2003 Slow rendering/refresh rate Product: Wine Version: 1.1.29 Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: zarahel@iol.pt
I´ve installed visio2003 with the lastest version of Wine 1.1.29. So far it seems to work fine, except when it comes to opening vsd files.
It takes forever to render and load all the vsd objects.
(in the atachment you can see my terminal output)

--- Comment #3 from jprobichaud@hotmail.com 2010-06-09 07:00:59 --- This is somewhat an old bug, but I'm still hit by it too.
Recently, I went into Visio "Tool" menu -> Options -> View and I enabled the "Smooth drawing" Display Option.
With this, the rendering is very fast (before, I was seeing each object being drawn, it was painfully slow...)
I'm under linux, with an intel integrated card (965GM). My kernel is 2.6.31 with DRM enabled, I'm running xorg 1.7 and Crossover Linux Pro 9.0.
Cheers!

I hit this error too some time ago. Now retesting visio 2003 , under wine 1.3.5, and winetricks gdiplus (to correct graphics errors) I don't see this bug any more. I am using ubuntu maverick + opensource radeon drivers.
