Bug #: 33360 Summary: Every time i try to play a battle on Pokemon Online it crashes and closes, currently im using Fedora 18 and in other distros it works perfectly(even though it sometimes lags) Product: Wine Version: 1.5.27 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: windowscodecs AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: juanca50@live.com.mx Classification: Unclassified
Crashes on Fedora 18 every time i try to use it to play a game and since i dont know how to make the linux version of Pokemon Online work im forced to use the Windows one with Wine. Also im not sure if i clicked the correct Component for the bug. Also the font on the game is pretty bad since its hard to read or just too small and the letter fucks up.

--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-04-09 21:00:53 CDT --- If it works on other distros, there's a decent chance the bug is invalid or a Fedora bug (it starts fine here).
Anyway, please attach the terminal output.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #4 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
client v2.31.xxx works fine here.
The game client seems to have technologically evolved a lot from 2 years ago. I had a brief look at bundled dlls, frameworks being used and it doesn't look like what your backtrace shows. There is a reason why you must *always* specify the exact version of the game/client at the time a bug is encountered. Leaving this information out doesn't make the report attractive for investigation at all. I also doubt the old version can be still retrieved for reproducing.
Resolving 'WORKSFORME' here.
