Download http://www.channel4.com/4od/installer/channel4_on_demand.exe and run
wine channel4_on_demand.exe
It goes through a little of the install and then says it is downloading dotnetfx.exe. It then crashes with a backtrace I attach below.

Hi, this is probably a duplicate of 11791. Could you try the attached patch and see if fixes the bug, to confirm it's a duplicate really? Thanks

--- Comment #2 from Raphael drraph@gmail.com 2008-03-30 06:16:38 --- That fixes the install crash thanks. The install gets much further and now fails on
"Failed to verify digital signature of file" "[...]dotnetfx.exe"
I suppose I should open a different bug report for that right? :)

--- Comment #7 from Misha Koshelev mk144210@bcm.edu 2008-04-11 07:56:38 --- btw, sorry I have been quite busy with work/school.
That commit fixed bug 9479. If you revert it I believe you'll reopen that bug and plus that patch per my testing was correct so the problem either is in actuality somewhere else (but exposed by that patch) or in a specific subcase for that patch which is not being handled. So I don't recommend simply reverting it.
Thanks Misha
