The Game Star Ruler (up to the current version 1.1.0.0) worked perfectly until
this change:

Please give clear instruction on reproducing the problem.

If I go 'quick start', then click 'research' I see a tech tree fine on 1.3.28.
Are you by any chance on btrfs? If so, see bug #28276 and the workaround patch
posted there.

Oh.

Yes, i do use btrfs. And i just tested: with that workaround patch in bug
#28276 everything is fine again. Thanks for the info and sorry for the
confusion.
