So it seems Sleeping Dogs does not like CSMT for some reason and even without it I cannot seem to get past the intro videos which show up pink but the audio is perceptible - it continues to loop playing the videos but never gets into the game.

I didnt try CSMT enabled, but I just downloaded this game fully. The starting animations are all white for me I think I was able to skip it by pressing esc, space or any key since the console where I started wine started to spam frequently wine lines. Eventually it crashed. Should make a bug report about it, but I really don't know what should I say about it. What's important.

To me it feels like it's the same wine-staging 2.12. All content that's vissible is white screen with mouse cursor. I didn't have speakers on this time but tries before had some sound effects. Also I didnt have have CSMT enabled but the game crashes after some time. It's too hard to tell the causes.

Could you retest if the CSMT bug is still valid?
Retested with wine-staging 2.16 with CSMT - game starts and seems to be running well at medium settings! The Wine devs have outdone themselves.
