Bug ID: 47329 Summary: wine_gecko incorrectly renders Adobe CC programs. Product: Wine Version: 4.0 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: vaidas.boqsc@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Today I have downloaded one of Adobe products from https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2018-direct-download-links.html
More accuretly this one: https://prodesigntools.com/prdl-download/Premiere%20Pro/50AAFADD563D46918969...
I extracted the .zip file and launched setup, as expected I was asked to install Gecko Wine integration. https://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko
I setup everything correctly, and setup.exe launches perfectly. However, after login, the rendering of the in-application html/css can be seen to be just wrong with broken look.
Meaning it is impossible to install an application without correct rendering by Gecko.
I have a feeling that Gecko Wine integration is just too old to render modern in-application website elements.
Is there something that can be done about it?

It is strange, right now the Adobe Setup is getting stuck when I correctly authenticate myself.
Previously, I could Authenticate and even see little bit further past that.

The same as I get.
Previously, I could Authenticate and even see little bit further past that.
I needed to agree to license and should tell me phone number, when I tried the first time. This worked without problems. Something like that or like in my screenshot (see attachment)? This I get with native ie8.
So this is not an issue with fancy new html/css to render that, because it works with ancient ie8. > Previously, I could Authenticate and even see little bit further past that. I get an unhandled exception then, but that's another bug.

001a:err:ole:create_server class {49bd2028-1523-11d1-ad79-00c04fd8fdff} not registered
That's bug 30349, but probably best to keep this bug open for the failure reported in the initial report.
