Upgrade Wine to wine-1.1.20. Remove ~/.wine directory. Reinstall your software.
Where is the terminal output? Attach as text file.
rod@rod-desktop:~$ wine EDP\EasyBooks\EasyBooks.exe
How did you installed it that it ended up in that directory? You sure that was the exact command line? How did your backslashes worked?

Yet to source wine-1.1.20.
How did you installed it that it ended up in that directory?
I added the fold to the wine "windows emulation folder" in the location that it installs in winXP
In the past I found that the EDP\EasyBooks\EasyBooks.exe could be saved to any other winXP machine (with out installing it) and it would run (I did this while saving data from the machine after it crashed from a virus attach.) So I tried that same approach with wine which until it kicked up the "not enough space error it appears to want to work. I have run a couple of winXP programs in wine via terminal this way and saved the .dll it asks for in terminal to the wine windows system32 folder and they work.. may be I have been lucky but with out any manual that I can find for either wine or terminal one has too use what little knowledge one has When I can find a download of wine-1.1.20. I will try again...
cheers Rodd

It sometimes works, but it's not really supported. Install it in wine properly.

Hi Rein, Your wine patch looks impressive but being new to wine etc... what parts of it do I save to where? Can I assume that the "+,-,@@ ..." down the left hand column is not part of the program but a column indent or something ?
I have used the instillation desk but end up with the error
Thanks Rod

--- Comment #8 from Rein Klazes wijn@online.nl 2009-05-03 08:12:41 --- The patch is a modification of the wine source. If you want to use it you must compile wine yourself in the first place.
Alternatively you have to wait until the patch makes into the official released wine. When that happens the bug will be closed and you are notified.
