First you need to fix this:

What was the actual problem here?

I downloaded the program let it upgrade itself that took some time.

It didnt start with mono so I installed winetricks -q dotnet20

and it starts with no issues

1.7.50(git)

I can't reproduce this, works fine here.
Was likely a dupe of existing .NET bugs, resolving 'FIXED'.
