Summary: WineTest - comctl32:ipaddress crash Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: robin@rharmsen.nl
When running the WineTest application on Windows XP with SP3 the test for comctl32:ipaddress crashed.
I think, the cause has something to do with IPv6.
After the test completed, I removed the IPv6 stack from the machine, rebooted and redid the test, and now no crash.
The tag I used for running the test is: xp_WinXP-Pro-SP3-NL
I guess it might be worthwhile to investigate this, in order to fix the test and the code it is testing.

--- Comment #4 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2010-06-24 07:08:49 --- That's strange, cause nothing was changed in tests. IPv6 is enabled right?

That's strange, cause nothing was changed in tests. IPv6 is enabled right?
Yes... IPv6 is enabled and working. Perhaps microsoft changed some stuff somewhere in the stack?
is comctl32:ipaddress still tested?
I don't know what has changed in the past 2.5 months on the machine tested. Perhaps some interaction with other software that has been resolved or removed. To bad I haven't got any other XP+SP3+IPv6 machines at hand.

Same crash on a your (at least named similar) test box:
Actually that is the box, and it crashed apparently.
But if I remember correctly previously I was getting the crash announced on the desktop as well, while now it only shows on the test result page on winehq.

Same crash on a your (at least named similar) test box:
I also tested on a non IPv6 box (WinXP-SP3-NL-NoIP6), and it ran the tests fine. So it still seems to be IPv6 related.
