Summary: ApexDC++ exception Product: Wine Version: 1.1.28 Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: puk007@gmail.com
I'm running ApexDC++ 1.2.1 using playonlinux script (wine 1.1.27). I'm facing problem, that after some time I allways get exception attached (attached screenshot as well as full log txt).
I've already identified that I get this one immediatelly when trying to connect to following hub: name: BEST of all hubs :::CZech republic::: (dc.bestofallhub.com:1128) address: dc.bestofallhub.com:1441 (only 1.st connection during one application run causes exception)
This is the last message written by this hub when connecting: [20:49:42] <[Bot]Security> Please stand by while loading the user list...
but user list never loads, I just get this exception.
would be great to have it running seamlessly.
help appreciated.

--- Comment #3 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2009-09-13 14:03:01 --- playonlinux isn't supported here.
Try with plain Wine 1.1.29, and report here. Otherwise this bug is invalid.
P.S. set correct version after testing with plain Wine.

I'm running ApexDC++ 1.2.1 using playonlinux script (wine 1.1.27).
Use vanilla Wine. PoL is not supported here. Do not report any bugs while using it.

--- Comment #6 from puk007@gmail.com 2009-09-14 00:49:25 --- reopening, as after tests with vanila wine 1.1.29 on ubuntu 9.04 I got exception attached in log file.
steps to reproduce: 1. download ApexDC++_1.2.1_binary.rar -can be found here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/apexdc/ApexDC%2B%2B/1.2.1/ApexDC%2B...
2. unrar it
3. delete ~/.wine
4. run: wine ApexDC.exe
5. setup: General->Nick - fill in some Connection settings -> (in my case also as I'm behind firewall) Ports -> TCP/UDP/TLS
6. add public hub (via menu in main interface -> View -> Public hub): name: BEST of all hubs :::CZech republic::: (dc.bestofallhub.com:1128) address: dc.bestofallhub.com:1441
7. connect to it
8. exception occurs
