Wine 1.7.40 creates the file structure

C\users\peterm\Temp\BBC0ff.tmp

only. The folder contains a $ only.

Confirming.

There's a thread on the forum about this, with some info from the app's
developer on how it's supposed to work.

Hack for shell32.SHFileOperation

Confirming. The problem is located somewhere in shell32.SHFileOperationW.

The attached hack lets the application start properly, but this is most likely
not the correct solution. Will need some tests to find out why/when it behaves
differently on Windows.

Still present in wine-6.6.

Adding a stable download for the oldest version I could find.
