Bug ID: 40930 Summary: Battle.net App: Windows versions higher than XP draw GTK decorations Product: Wine Version: 1.9.13 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: florian.reisenhofer@aon.at Distribution: ---
When selecting a Windows version higher than Windows XP to use for the application, the client uses a GTK titlebar instead of the native one that comes with the application.
What it looks like with Wine set to Windows 10: http://i.imgur.com/zgfH3X6.jpg How it's supposed to look: http://i.imgur.com/cPoGwGQ.jpg
Note that the Internet (Shop and Game Notifications) aren't working either, but this is a seperate issue and only applies to Windows versions higher than Windows Vista.

--- Comment #1 from Hugo Osvaldo Barrera hugo@barrera.io --- This looks like an issue with your DE, and not related to wine or GTK actually.

--- Comment #2 from Dmitriy xomachiner@gmail.com --- The same behaviour on ArchLinux x86_64 with awesome wm on top of lxde. The only difference is an absence of titlebar instead of GTK titlebar (due to tiling mode of wm) when Windows version is higher than WinXP. WinXP: http://imgur.com/s1OAEvZ Win7: http://imgur.com/CbcbKOB It looks like Blizzard uses a different modification of the battle.net for WinXP. (Just take a look at the tray icon in both of versions and the streaming button, that appears in Win7 version.)

--- Comment #3 from Storm Engineer hewanci@gmail.com --- Is this really a bug? To me it sounds like a feature. :P

--- Comment #4 from Hugo Osvaldo Barrera hugo@barrera.io --- I fail to see how having a GTK titlebar on an app that has its own decoration can ever be a feature.
It also doesn't have native decorations on windows, so it's definitely misbehaving.

--- Comment #5 from Amosar maxi.cass11@gmail.com --- If you dont want this second title bar you can disable it with the option "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows" in the Graphics tab of winecfg
