Downlaod the "BCGControlBar Professional Edition demonstration" Run the Slider.exe example Try to move the slider across, it doesn't move.
The new value is recorded, as a Dialog appears stating the value.

As a workaround, I tried `winemaker . && make` in that directory, but it failed (may be easy to fix, I didn't try).
Please retest in 1.1.30 or newer wine.

Seems like you downloaded the wrong one, see the first download under "Demonstrations": http://www.bcgsoft.com/download/BCGControlBarProDemo.zip then you still need winetricks mfc42 and it works (except of that bug)
So still confirming in 1.3.0
