What exact steps to reproduce?

Are you sure you running game here? Doesn't look like default Wine location,
have you tried with clean wineprefix?

Is this still an issue with Wine-1.3.37 (or newer)?
If so, can you reproduce the problem with the demo as well?

Indeed, the game must be started via Updater.exe, because Game.exe alone does
nothing.
