(I used the high graphics version, though it's quite likely the regular version
has the same problem).

Download, install, wait hours for it to finish (14 GB). Run, let it patch, then
you'll get a login prompt. The text of the button to login is corrupted. Native
gdiplus fixes it.

When comparing the screenshots, I also noticed that the text at the top of the
window 'Community', 'Account', 'Support' are nearly solid white with builtin,
but have a thicker black border with native gdiplus. Looks like a similar
issue..

Probably just a lack of anti-aliasing, combined with the program creating and
drawing a path for the text instead of drawing it normally.

In wine-1.5.18, the button is blue and missing text. With native gdiplus, it is
gray and has text.

The download link provided comment 1 is expired.

But I did go to their site, picked the pc version. Let it install, started it.
When it asked about graphics quality I took the better graphics option.

But it seems that the same issues is still there. The fonts are quite thin and
very white too.

I don't see the issue mentioned here. No need to download the game just the
installer and when it asked about high resolution version I said yes.

I still see it in wine-1.7.51-181-g8fdcc23, but native gdiplus doesn't help
anymore. Doesn't look like the installer has changed afaict.
