Hellbender Setup Bug Backtrace

Wine 10.20 x86_64
OS: Debian Forky/SID
Software: Hellbender (MS Games) from Terminal Reality studios, 1996.

Crash 1.a on setup.exe
It fails while "audio drivers" progress is shown (after main game data).
Backtrace attached. Console gives:
0324:fixme:setupapi:SETUPX_CreateStandardLDDs LDID_SRCPATH: what exactly do we
have to do here ?
0324:fixme:setupapi:DiGetClassDevs16 wine: Unhandled page fault on read access
to 0000E327 at address 7A9250E6 (thread 0324), starting debugger...

Crash 1.b upon launching Hellbend.exe (Since most installation is ok)
It launches the main window. Clicking New Game gives console error "free():
double free detected in tcache 2"
